Flexible PVC skirting board PS is a modern flexible profile made of non-toxic PVC with a height of 55 mm, 75 mm, 100 mm. It is highly durable and provides aesthetic design of joints between the floor and wall. It is recommended to install the skirting board using TEKNO PU Liquid Nails polyurethane adhesive. You will need:

  • PVC skirting board
  • Polyurethane glue "liquid nails"
  • Construction or stationery knife
  • Industrial hair dryer for heating and flexible shaping of external and internal corners

We mount the skirting board on a clean and dry surface.

Instructions for installing flexible PVC skirting boards:

1. Marking Apply a control mark on the wall, marking the height of the skirting board.

2. Applying glue to the wall Apply polyurethane glue Liquid Nails to the wall around the perimeter of the baseboard installation.

3. Applying glue to the skirting board Apply glue to the back of the skirting board for a secure bond to the wall.

4. Installing the skirting board Press the skirting board firmly against the wall along the marked lines. Move gradually, from corner to corner.

5. Forming external and internal corners (bends) For smooth and neat forming of corners, heat the material with a construction hair dryer - the baseboard will become more flexible. Do not overload the bends without preheating - this may cause cracks.

Internal corners: Form the internal corner by carefully cutting the stiffener at a 45-degree angle, aligning the joints, and pressing the edges firmly. Forming external corners: Similarly, heat the desired area with a hairdryer, press the skirting board, forming the corner.

After gluing, additionally press the skirting board along its entire length.
