We prepared a detailed video review and, using the example of a half-destroyed column, showed all the stages of repair and restoration of concrete and reinforced concrete structures. We did:
SURFACE PREPARATION. ADHESIVE LAYER AND REINFORCEMENT PROTECTION AGAINST CORROSION TEKNO AD
First of all, we removed the weak parts of the concrete, cleaned the reinforcement from rust mechanically and treated it with a rust converter. CORROSION INHIBITOR AND ADHESION PROMOTER TEKNO AD.
This is a cement mortar modified with polymers, which is used as an adhesion layer, as well as a layer to protect reinforcement from corrosion.

PREPARATION OF THE TEKNO AD WORKING MIXTURE.
Mixing proportions:
Tekno AD dry component — 20 kg/bag
Water - 4 liters.
Knead for 5 minutes. Wait three minutes, rest, and mix well again for 2 minutes. The finished mixture must be applied to the surface within 30 minutes.
Before applying Tekno AD, thoroughly moisten the surface.

We have properly prepared the concrete surface before using the repair mixture. We move on to structural repair.
REPAIR MIXTURE FOR STRUCTURAL REPAIR TEKNOREP 300 EX
To repair damage with a depth of 10-40 (mm.), we used a high-strength, non-shrinking cement-based repair mixture reinforced with polymer fibers - Teknorep 300 EX. When mixed with water, the material forms a plastic thixotropic mass with high adhesion to concrete and metal. PREPARATION OF THE WORKING MIXTURE TEKNOREP 300 EX.
Mixing proportions:
Dry component Teknorep 300 EX — 25 kg/bag
Water - 3.5-4.5 liters.
To prepare the working repair solution, pour 3.5 - 4.5 liters of water into a container. Gradually start adding the dry material Teknorep 300 EX, 25 kg. The mixture should be mixed using a low-speed mixer for at least 5 minutes until a homogeneous mass is obtained. Leave the finished solution for 3 minutes, then mix again for 2 minutes.
Do not add more water to the ready-mixed mixture. Instead, moisten the surface well immediately before applying the Teknorep 300 EX repair mixture. Apply the material with a spatula in a thin layer no more than 40 mm thick. If necessary, you can apply several layers.

The next stage is the final leveling of the surface.
THIN-LAYER REPAIR MIXTURE TEKNOREP 200
For the final leveling of the column surface, we used a thin-layer repair mixture Teknorep 200. This is a polymer-cement repair mixture for vertical and horizontal repairs, reinforced with polymer fibers. The presence of polymer fibers in the repair mixture significantly increases the strength and resistance of the coating to cracking.
Teknorep 200 is a thin-layer polymer-cement repair mixture for vertical and horizontal surfaces, reinforced with polymer fibers. It is used for repairing concrete surfaces after formwork removal, for repairing damage and cracks in any mineral surfaces, concrete products and structures in all types of engineering structures, for repairing prefabricated reinforced concrete elements, and also for eliminating defects with a thickness of 3 to 30 mm.
PREPARATION OF THE TEKNOREP 200 WORKING MIXTURE.
Mixing proportions:
Dry component Teknorep 300 EX — 25 kg/bag
Water - 4-5 liters.
To mix the working solution, a 25 kg bag requires 4 to 5 liters of water. Mixing is carried out using a low-speed mixer until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. The mixing time should be at least 5 minutes. The resulting solution should be kept for 3 minutes and mixed again for 2 minutes until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. Water should not be added to the already prepared mixture. The pot life of the finished mixture is 30 minutes.

EXTERNAL REINFORCEMENT OF THE COLUMN WITH TEKNOWRAP CARBON FABRIC AND TEKNOBOND 300 TIX EPOXY GLUE
At the final stage, we actually performed the external reinforcement of the column using Teknowrap carbon fibers.
It is one of the strongest materials in the world, 14 times more resistant to stretching than steel.
Teknowrap 220 is a high-strength unidirectional carbon fiber fabric used to reinforce structures.

Teknowrap carbon fabric is very flexible and easily takes the desired shape. When laminated with epoxy glue, the fibers harden quickly.
PREPARATION OF EPOXY GLUE TEKNOBOND 300 TIX.
Mix the Teknobond 300 Tix epoxy glue according to the proportions. Tare the container and measure out the required amount of component A. Close the bucket tightly, the remaining glue can be stored until next time.
Add component B to the container - this is the hardener. Mix with a low-speed electric mixer for 2-3 minutes until a homogeneous working mixture is obtained.
Teknobond 300 Tix is a two-component thixotropic adhesive based on epoxy resin that does not contain solvents.
