Teknobond 400 D glue is a universal two-component epoxy glue that is suitable for bonding a wide variety of materials: natural stone, granite, metal, glass, wood, concrete, tiles, marble and gluing Teknomer sealing tapes.
Teknomer thermoplastic tape is used for sealing expansion, deformation and work joints, cracks and joints. The tape has perforations at the edges and is a component of the sealing system with Teknobond 400 D epoxy adhesive. How to seal joints using Teknobond 400 D adhesive and Teknomer tape: Mixing the adhesive: add component B to component A and mix with a low-speed electric mixer (at a speed of approximately 350-400 rpm) for 2-3 minutes until a homogeneous working mixture is obtained.
To glue the Teknomer thermoplastic tape, apply the ready-made mixture with a spatula on each side of the seam to a width of at least 5 cm. Apply the tape and roll it with a polyurethane roller. At the time of rolling, part of the glue comes out through the holes onto the outer surface of the tape. Apply the top layer of glue and smooth it with a spatula, securely sealing the tape inside the glue.
