TEKNOMER 400 2K is a two-component bitumen-polymer waterproofing based on bitumen and rubber. The mastic provides moisture-resistant waterproofing, suitable for various surfaces and difficult operating conditions.
Composition and packaging: the mastic consists of two components - Component A (cement dry mix) and Component B (water-based bitumen-polymer emulsion).
Surface preparation: The first step is to apply the TEKNOMER 400 ASTAR bitumen primer, which guarantees reliable adhesion of the mastic to the base. After priming, wait one hour until it dries completely.

Reliable surface protection: thanks to the thick layer, the mastic is ideal for waterproofing underground parts of structures, for gluing lightweight thermal insulation boards.
Wide range of applications: suitable for concrete, brick, metal and wooden surfaces, which makes the material a universal solution for roofs, foundations, retaining walls, wells and columns.
Material consumption: 3-6 kg/m².
Application thickness: 2-4 mm, which is suitable for standard waterproofing.
For surfaces under constant water pressure, the layer thickness should be increased to 4 mm for optimal protection.
Crack protection: the mastic withstands deformations of up to 2 mm, which complies with the European standard EN 15812.
Preparation and application process:
Preparation of the mixture: Pour Component A into Component B, mix with a low-speed mixer until a homogeneous consistency.
Application methods: the mastic is easily applied with a brush, spatula or spray gun.
Layering: apply the first layer and wait at least 3 hours for it to dry completely, then apply the second layer perpendicular to the previous one. This ensures maximum reliability of the coating.
