Thixotropic, non-shrinking, high-strength repair compound for vertical surfaces
PROPERTIES

APPLICATION AREA
• For structural repair of concrete and reinforced concrete structures.
• Repair of hydraulic structures, tunnels, bridges, port structures, including those operated in contact with sea water.
• Repair of prestressed structures, as well as structures exposed to static and dynamic (moderate) loads.
• Creation of wear-resistant waterproofing coatings.
• Restoration of the protective layer of reinforced concrete structures.
• Installation of prefabricated structures, sealing holes from formwork studs.
• Repair of chips, potholes, cavities, as well as other damage and defects of concrete and reinforced concrete structures.
• Leveling the surface before applying waterproofing coatings, sealing open cracks, joints, and fillets.
• Repair of road surfaces, parking lots, and sidewalks.
SURFACE PREPARATION
• Clean the surface from low-strength concrete, various kinds of dirt, cement laitance, corrosion products, oils, petroleum products and other substances that can reduce the adhesion of the applied repair compound to the base.
• Expand visible cracks, seams, joints, connections in the form of a U-shaped shape with an expansion in depth of at least 20x20 mm.
• If there are active leaks on the surface, it is necessary to take measures to eliminate them.
• Clean the existing reinforcement from corrosion products. If necessary, treat with passivating compounds.
• In case of significant destruction and damage to the reinforcement, strengthen or replace it.
• Provide the necessary surface roughness.
• The surface on which the compound is applied must be clean, strong
(compressive strength of at least 15 MPa, tensile strength of at least 1.5 MPa), rough, moistened to saturation, but not wet.
• When performing work in hot and dry weather, the surface moistening time should be increased to 3 days.
• If necessary, in order to increase the adhesion of the mixture, as well as for porous surfaces, additional surface treatment is recommended.
• In the case of applying the repair compound on the mesh, its fastening is carried out at a distance of 10-20 mm from the surface. It is recommended to treat the metal mesh with passivating compounds.
APPLICATION OF THE MIXTURE
• The material can be applied manually using a trowel and spatula or mechanically.
• The optimal thickness of application in one pass is from 10 mm to 40 mm. In case of a greater depth of destruction, the material is applied in several layers.
• Leveling and smoothing of the surface is performed using plastering trowels, when the material has already begun to set.
