Over time, a concrete floor can lose its evenness, strength and integrity, which makes its further use difficult and significantly spoils its appearance. For quick and high-quality leveling of surfaces, the Teknoself self-leveling mixture is the ideal solution. It provides a strong and durable coating that is suitable for any type of premises.

What is Teknoself?

Teknoself is a high-adhesion, synthetic fiber-reinforced, cementitious leveling compound specifically designed for thin application and creating a perfectly flat surface.

Where is Teknoself used?

  • As a leveling screed before laying tiles, ceramics, granite, marble, parquet, vinyl LVT flooring, linoleum or carpet.
  • For smoothing new or existing surfaces (layer thickness – from 2 to 10 mm).
  • For heated floors.
  • Suitable for both residential and industrial construction.

How to use Teknoself correctly?

1. Surface preparation
Before applying the mixture, the surface must be cleaned of dust, dirt, oils and other contaminants. To improve adhesion, treat the base with Teknolatex 300 primer.

2. Preparing the mixture

  • Pour 6 - 6.5 liters of water into the container.
  • Gradually add the dry mixture, stirring constantly with a low-speed mixer until smooth.

3. Applying the mixture
Spread the solution evenly over the surface, level it with a spatula. To remove air bubbles, use a needle roller.

Important! Use the solution within 30 minutes of preparation. After 24 hours the floor will be ready for use.
