Thixotropic, shrinkage-compensating repair mortar with increased strength for vertical surfaces.
PROPERTIES
• Forms a durable, wear-resistant, waterproof, and long-lasting coating.
• High-modulus fiber enhances the material's mechanical properties, increases wear resistance and coating durability, and reduces shrinkage during the early stages of curing.
• Thixotropic, suitable for repairing vertical and overhead surfaces without formwork.
• Rapid strength gain.
• Contains additives that compensate for material shrinkage.
• Resistant to aggressive exposure to chlorides, sulfates, sulfides, oils, and their derivatives.
• Contains reinforcement corrosion inhibitors.
• Environmentally safe, approved for use in repairing structures in contact with drinking water.
• Does not contain substances that promote reinforcement corrosion.
SCOPE OF APPLICATION
• For structural repair of concrete and reinforced concrete structures. • Repair of hydraulic structures, tunnels, bridges, and port facilities, including those operating in contact with seawater.
• Repair of prestressed structures, as well as structures subject to static and dynamic (moderate) loads.
• Creation of wear-resistant waterproofing coatings.
• Restoration of the protective layer of reinforced concrete structures.
• Installation of precast structures, sealing of holes left by formwork studs.
• Repair of chips, potholes, cavities, and other damage and defects in concrete and reinforced concrete structures.
• Leveling the surface before applying waterproofing coatings, sealing exposed cracks, joints, and installing fillets. • Repair of road surfaces, parking lots, and sidewalks
SURFACE PREPARATION
Clean the surface of weak concrete, various types of contaminants, cement laitance, corrosion products, oils, petroleum products, and other substances that could reduce the adhesion of the repair mortar to the substrate.
Extrude visible cracks, seams, joints, and mating surfaces into a U-shape with a minimum depth of 20 x 20 mm.
If there are active leaks on the surface, they must be eliminated.
Clean existing reinforcement of corrosion products. If necessary, treat with passivating compounds.
If significant damage or deterioration of the reinforcement is present, reinforce or replace it.
Roughen the surface to the required level. The surface on which the mixture is applied must be clean, strong (compressive strength of at least 15 MPa, tensile strength of at least 1.5 MPa), rough, dust-free, and moistened to saturation, but not wet.
When working in hot and dry weather, the surface should be moistened longer (up to 3 days).
If necessary, to improve the adhesion of the mixture being applied, as well as for highly porous surfaces, it is recommended to treat the base with a high-adhesion compound.
If applying the repair mixture over a mesh, secure it at a distance of 10-20 mm from the surface. It is recommended to treat the metal mesh with passivating compounds.
LAYING THE MIXTURE
The material can be applied manually using a trowel and spatula or mechanically using specialized plastering machines and mortar pumps. The optimal application thickness per pass is between 10 mm and 40 mm. If the damage is deeper, apply the mixture layer by layer.
Leveling and smoothing of the applied mixture is carried out after it has begun to set, using plastering floats.
Periodic stirring of the mixture is recommended during the application process to restore its original workability.
