Teknoser 100 – a topping (hardener) for fresh concrete surfaces.
Contains sorted quartz sand, hydraulic binder, and special chemical additives. It increases the strength properties of concrete surfaces by 1.5 times, imparting the desired decorative appearance.
Applications
- For industrial floors with light to medium traffic.
- For shops and department stores.
- For parking lots, hangars, garages
- Metro station underpasses, indoor parking garages.
- Production facilities, warehouses, and factories.
- Shopping centers with heavy foot traffic, industrial buildings, gas stations, and aircraft hangars.
Features and Benefits
- Economical material.
- Prevents dust formation on coated surfaces.
- Excellent resistance to mechanical impact.
- Excellent wear resistance.
- Creates a durable, smooth, and non-slip frost-resistant surface. Increases concrete impermeability and improves resistance to penetration by oils, greases, etc.
Instructions for use
Before using TEKNOSER 100, the concrete must reach the required hardness; otherwise, cracks may develop.
Dry-on-wet method. For optimal results, TEKNOSER 100 dry concrete hardener should be applied manually in two stages at a rate of 2-4 kg/m² per stage. After the hardener has absorbed all the moisture from the concrete, the concrete surface is finished using hand-held trowels. For corners and edges, use special hand-held trowels and hand floats. After the initial troweling, the hardener is applied again manually at a rate of 2-4 kg/m², and the surface is finished in the same manner. A hard and smooth surface is achieved after finishing with blades (knives).
Application Notes / Limitations
- To achieve the highest quality coating, it is important to calculate the optimal application time.
- Avoid use in windy, cold, and rainy weather.
- Do not apply the surface hardener in very windy or dry conditions.
- Surface hardeners may change color depending on the type of concrete surface.
- To ensure uniformity and color continuity, the flooring installation process should be protected from environmental influences as much as possible.
- Do not add fly ash to the concrete mix, as it accumulates in the top layer of the slab, causing dusting of the flooring or delamination of the hardener.
- Do not add water to the concrete mix to improve its workability. This reduces the strength of the concrete and increases chemical and physical shrinkage, resulting in uncontrolled scratches and cracks.
- This product may cause irritation if it comes into contact with the skin. Wear protective gloves and eye protection. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention.
