TEKNOFLEX is a waterproofing material based on polymer-modified bitumen. The material is resistant to ultraviolet radiation and atmospheric conditions.
Areas of Application
- Concrete and concrete-coated surfaces.
- Wooden and metal surfaces (zinc, iron).
- Aerated concrete.
- Asbestos-cement boards.
- Repair and sealing of bitumen membrane and bitumen shingle connections.
- Waterproofing of building foundations against groundwater.
- For waterproofing applications on underground and above-ground structures, on vertical and horizontal surfaces.

Application Method
The surface to which TEKNOFLEX is applied must be dry or slightly damp, but free from standing water. The product must not be applied in the presence of negative water pressure or efflorescence.
The surface must be clean and sound. Defects, damaged areas and weak sections must be repaired beforehand using Teknorep repair mortars.
Calcium carbonate, calcite, oils and rust may adversely affect the adhesion of TEKNOFLEX. If a primer is required to improve adhesion, TEKNOFAST waterproofing material can be used as a primer. The recommended primer consumption is 150–200 g/m².
TEKNOFLEX is ready to use and does not require dilution.
The material can be applied by brush or roller in 2–3 coats, or by squeegee in one continuous coat. The waiting time between coats depends on weather conditions and is approximately 12–24 hours.
If necessary, polyester fleece/fabric with a density of 50–75 g/m² can be used to reinforce corners and connection details. The reinforcing material should be embedded into the first fresh coat of TEKNOFLEX, followed by application of the subsequent waterproofing coat.
After completing waterproofing works on underground parts of the structure, the applied coating must be protected against mechanical damage using extruded polystyrene boards, a drainage membrane or other suitable protective materials.
Application Notes and Restrictions
- In rainy or freezing weather conditions, application must be postponed.
- Appropriate protective clothing, gloves and safety goggles must be worn during application.
- The material is ready to use. Do not add any foreign materials or components to the product.
Storage Conditions and Shelf Life
TEKNOFLEX waterproofing material must be stored in a place protected from direct sunlight and freezing.
Recommended storage temperature: +10 °C to +35 °C.
When stored under the specified conditions, the product has a shelf life of 12 months.
