Teknoself is a self-leveling thin-layer cementitious mixture reinforced with synthetic fibers and enhanced adhesion strength, designed for effective repair and leveling of existing floors in residential, commercial, and public buildings.

Specifically designed for thin application.

Applications:

• Used as a leveling screed for preparing surfaces for tiles, ceramics, granite, marble, parquet, linoleum, and carpet.
• Used for leveling and smoothing new or existing surfaces from 1 to 10 mm thick, such as leveling unevenness in concrete and screed floors, as well as on heated concrete floor structures, cement screeds, etc.
• Suitable for both residential and industrial construction.
• Suitable for areas requiring a self-leveling coating less than 10 mm thick.
• Suitable for use with caster furniture.

Instructions for use:

Before application, clean the surface of any oil, rust, detergents, or other substances that may impair adhesion. Any cracks or cavities on the surface should be repaired using suitable repair compounds. For better adhesion, the prepared surface should be primed with TEKNOLATEX 500 or TEKNOLATEX 300, depending on its structure. Dry surfaces should be slightly moistened. Application of TEKNOSELF should begin after 3-4 days.

Spread the prepared material evenly over the primed surface. Before application, we recommend removing air bubbles with a spiked roller. Mix the solution with a low-speed electric mixer (maximum 400 rpm) until a homogeneous mass is achieved. Gradually add the powdered material to a container with 6-6.5 liters of water and continue mixing until a homogeneous mixture is achieved. The amount of water required for mixing may vary depending on the ambient temperature. The solution should be applied and spread onto the surface within 30 minutes.

Application precautions:

• After application, protect the surface from adverse weather conditions, such as direct sunlight, strong winds, high temperatures (over 35°C), rain, and frost.
• Applying the mixture in a single layer is not recommended at a thickness greater than 10 mm.
• Protect the floor from contact with water after applying the solution.
• Tools and equipment must be washed with warm water immediately after use.
• For outdoor use, the surface should be coated with concrete varnish to improve its resistance to environmental influences.
• The recommended surface readiness time is 24 hours.
