Adhesive for stone, marble and granite Teknobond 400 (комплект 5 кг)

Teknobond 400 is a two-component, solvent-free epoxy adhesive and repair mortar.

Applications:

• Repair and sealing of expansion, construction, and temperature joints in systems with Teknomer thermoplastic tapes;
• Repair, bonding, and gluing together building materials (concrete, brick, stone, marble, metal, wood, glass, PVC, etc.);
• Sealing of drains and gutters;
• Anchoring of reinforcement rods and hardware;
• Filling joints and cracks.

Instructions for use

• Substrate quality/preliminary preparation
• The application surface must be dry and free of dust, dirt, loose and friable particles, cement mortar residue, oil, and grease. If there are any weak concrete areas on the surface, they should be removed and then repaired using Teknogrout or Teknorep repair mortars.
• The concrete base must be sound and have sufficient compressive strength (minimum 25 N/mm²) and tensile strength of at least 1.5 N/mm².

Mixing the components

Add component B to component A and mix with a low-speed electric mixer (350-400 rpm) for 2-3 minutes until a homogeneous working mixture is obtained.

Application

For bonding Teknomer thermoplastic tape:

Apply the prepared mixture with a spatula to the surface on each side of the tape, at least 5 cm wide.

Do not apply adhesive to the center of the tape.

After bonding the tape to the substrate, apply the mixture to the edges of the outer side of the tape, overlapping the edges by 5 cm.

To prevent loss of elasticity, it is recommended to lay the tape taut, rather than with a sag allowance along the seam.

For anchoring reinforcing bars:

The diameter of the anchor holes should be 4 mm larger than the diameter of the reinforcing bars. Place the mixture into the hole to 2/3 of its depth. Before installation, lubricate the reinforcing bar with the mixture and insert it into the hole until it stops.
