Teknomer 200 EX W  is a two-component elastic waterproofing material with a high degree of protection against ultraviolet radiation. Forms a seamless elastic waterproofing coating for internal and external use. Creates protection against leakage and penetration of surface water. Consists of a white powder component, a liquid component based on acrylic and special additives that increase the water resistance and workability of the application surface.

STORAGE/NOTE ON APPLICATION

• Do not add water to the mixture.
• Do not apply Teknomer 200 EX-W on the eve of and during precipitation.
• Avoid applying the material in direct sunlight or in strong winds.

 APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS SUBSTRATE
QUALITY / PRELIMINARY PREPARATION
Before applying the material, the surface should be cleaned of any oil, rust, detergents, dirt and other substances that prevent setting, for example: by water jetting or sandblasting, etc. To ensure maximum adhesion, provide a uniform roughness to the entire surface. If there are cracks or other damage on the surface, they must be pre-repaired using non-shrinking repair mortars Teknorep 300, Teknogrout EX. Teknoplug material is used to stop active leaks. Use Teknomer 200 EX-W 3-4 days after repair work. Important! Teknomer 200 EX W-Blue protects the surface from positive water pressure, with negative pressure, use the waterproofing mixture Teknomer 200 EX Cristallize. Before applying the material, the substrate must be pre-moistened to a matte-damp state. Avoid puddles on the surface.

MIXING

Shake component A thoroughly before use. To prepare the working solution, pour component A into a clean mixing container and gradually add powdered component B. Using a low-speed mixer (max. 500 rpm), mix the mixture for 5 minutes until smooth. After mixing, leave the mixture to stand for approximately 3 minutes, then mix again for 2 minutes.

CAUSING

Teknomer 200 EX-W should be applied to the surface with a brush or spatula. Each subsequent layer should be applied perpendicular to the previous one. The layer is considered dry when it no longer sticks to the fingers. When further laying tiles on the surface, each corner should be treated with Teknomer pah bandi insulating tape. When applying waterproofing to the screed, a waterproofing mesh must be used between the layers.

CLEANING THE TOOL

Tools and equipment must be washed with water immediately after finishing work. After hardening, Teknomer 200 EX W-Blue can only be removed from the surface mechanically.
