InnoElast Adhesive is a universal, single-component adhesive for sealing horizontal and vertical joints in concrete structures. It is used for sealing construction joints in building structures, expansion joints, joints and through-pipe openings in walls, cracks and damage, sealing and sealing joints in industrial floors, and sealing and sealing joints in windows, niches, etc.

- For repairing and sealing defects

Surface preparation:
The surface must be strong and stable, free of dust, grease, oil, and other materials that could impair adhesion. The surface may be damp, but must not be wet or have a visible moisture film.
Suitable for application on concrete and other mineral building materials, as well as plasterboard, wood, metal, PVC, ceramics, bitumen, etc.; if in doubt, we recommend conducting a preliminary test.
Application:
InnoElast® is applied directly to the surface using a pressure gun. Priming is not required for suitable surfaces.
When sealing joints, ensure a sufficient joint width (≥ 5 mm) and depth (≥ 10 mm and ≥ ½ the joint width). To prevent three-sided adhesion to the joint base, place a suitable filler cord or polyethylene strip in the joint. It is recommended to seal the joint edges with adhesive tape. When filling the joint with sealant, avoid the formation of voids and bubbles. Ensure good adhesion to the sides of the joint by pressing and smoothing. Clean liquid soaps (not diluted with water), such as dishwashing detergent, can be used as a smoothing agent. Remove the adhesive tape immediately after smoothing. The maximum thickness of the sealant layer applied in one application should not exceed 5 cm.
When used as an adhesive, InnoElast® is applied evenly to the surface to be bonded and spread with a notched trowel in a layer of 1 to 2 mm. To ensure a tight bond without voids or bubbles, the sealant must be pressed firmly over the entire surface. Bonding large surfaces with InnoElast® requires a moisture-permeable substrate. For impermeable surfaces, we recommend using FlächenElast® adhesive and sealant with an artificial hardener.
For a secure bond with ProElast® film, follow the application instructions in the "ProElast® System" data sheet. If in doubt about surface preparation and application, we recommend conducting a preliminary test.
Post-treatment:
While a stable surface film is forming,
InnoElast® sealant must be protected from moisture.
If paint or varnish coating is planned for later use, we recommend conducting your own tests
due to the wide variety of coating systems available. InnoElast® Type 2 is suitable for paint application
in accordance with DIN 52452, Part 4.
Consumption and minimum joint dimensions:
When sealing joints in accordance with DIN 18540, a sufficient joint width (≥ 5 mm) and
depth (≥ 10 mm and ≥ ½ the width) must be maintained.

Instructions for use:
InnoElast® sealant is moisture-curing, meaning that
high temperatures or high absolute humidity
of the ambient air accelerate the curing process (thereby
reducing the open time
of the sealant), while low temperatures slow it down.
Preheating the material at temperatures
below +5°C facilitates application. Hardened residue can be removed mechanically using a scraper or spatula.
