IPS PU 2K is a two-component polyurethane construction sealant for sealing joints and cracks in vertical and inclined building structures. It can also be used to seal joints in horizontal structures without direct mechanical loads. It is easily applied with a hand tool (e.g., a spatula). After mixing, the components cure through a chemical reaction. The curing rate increases with increasing temperature. The sealant has excellent adhesion to most building materials, as well as good strength and deformation properties after curing. It can be used in residential buildings, provided the sealant is fully cured before use.
Application:
• Sealing joints and cracks in vertical and inclined building structures
• Sealing joints and cracks in horizontal building structures without direct mechanical load
• Sealing expansion joints with a maximum deformation of ±25%
• Sealing monolithic and precast reinforced concrete structures
