High-quality two-component polyurethane sealant Oksiplasts for sealing joints and cracks in vertical and inclined building structures.
Areas of application:
- Sealing joints of vertical and inclined building structures
- Sealing of joints and cracks in horizontal structures (floors) in the absence of mechanical load
- Sealing of expansion joints with maximum deformation ± 25%
- Sealing of monolithic and prefabricated reinforced concrete structures
Advantages:
- We recommend selecting the size of the sealing gasket taking into account the actual width of the joint to limit the depth of the sealant layer, achieve the recommended ratio of width to depth of the sealant and reduce material consumption. In addition, the use of porous sealing materials reduces heat loss of the building.
- It is necessary to follow the recommendations for the optimal joint width and depth for this sealant.
- Applying sealant with a layer thickness less than the minimum recommended reduces the durability of the seam sealing.
- Exceeding the maximum recommended sealant layer thickness causes high internal stresses that contribute to the appearance of cracks.
