Teknocila 450 Water-Based Acrylic Varnish (5 kg)

Teknocila 450 is a semi-gloss concrete curing and polishing product based on a special modified acrylic resin, used to waterproof and harden concrete.

Application Details
Surface Quality: The surface must be free of all types of adhesion inhibitors, dust, dirt, and oil, as well as free and volatile particles.

CHARACTERISTICS

Surface Preparation: Before applying bare concrete to exposed, uncoated surfaces, the surface must be dry, sound, and free of loose or unbonded particles.
Appropriate surface preparation methods include steam cleaning, high-pressure water jetting, or etching.

Substrate and ambient temperature: +5°C to +30°C

Application Instructions: Teknocila 450 is ready to use. Do not apply when rain is expected.

Curing Stage: No special curing process is required; protection from rain for at least 12 hours at approximately +20°C is sufficient (dust-tightness is achieved after 60 minutes).

Mixing: Stir well before application after opening the package.

Application Method/Equipment: Can be applied with a short-nap brush or roller, or with manual or automatic sprayers.

Coverage: 0.150-0.200 kg/m² (may vary depending on the surface).

Cleaning: Immediately after application, clean equipment and areas in contact with skin with warm water and detergent.

Equipment Cleaning: Rinse equipment with water immediately after application, before it hardens.

Cleaning Time: Approximately 30 minutes at 20°C.

Application Notes/Restrictions
This product may cause skin irritation. Wear protective gloves or goggles. You can also apply barrier cream to your hands before starting work. In case of eye contact, rinse immediately with warm water and seek medical attention.
