Tekno Ad is a dry mortar mix for improved adhesion between old and new concrete surfaces. Contains special additives and corrosion inhibitors.
Scope:
- in large engineering structures (metro, highway, tunnel, dam)
- for repairing and strengthening concrete surfaces
- to prevent corrosion in reinforced concrete structures
Advantages:
- has high mechanical strength
- has strong adhesion to concrete and reinforcement
- protects reinforcement from moisture
- easy to apply
- non-toxic
Instructions for use:
The surface to be applied must be free of any oil, rust, detergents, or other substances that prevent setting. Before application, the surface must be moistened.
Mixing is carried out using a low-speed mixer, gradually adding the mixture to a container of water over 5 minutes. Let the mixture sit for 3 minutes, and then mix again until a homogeneous mixture is achieved. Apply to the surface using a roller or automatic sprayer. The solution must be used within an hour.
Application Notes / Limitations
- Do not add other components to the solution.
- After application, the surface must be protected from adverse weather conditions and temperatures above 35°C.
- Equipment must be removed immediately after use.
- May cause skin irritation. Use protective gloves, goggles, and masks during use.
