Teknobar(C) carbon fiber rod

Teknobar (C) is a rod made of epoxy resin-impregnated, frozen unidirectional and continuous (linear) carbon fiber in standard sizes.

• In floors, beams and bridges where it is necessary to increase the load-bearing capacity
• In column reinforcement
• In floors that sag
• In beams and balconies

Application details

Surface quality: The concrete must be hard and have sufficient strength. 

Surface preparation: The floor must be clean and free of oil, dirt, dust, water or moisture. Weak concrete parts should be removed, repaired with high-strength repair mortar and restored to their original condition.

Instructions for use:

• Mix TEKNOBOND 400 glue in proportion. Apply the glue in a thin layer to the concrete and TEKNOBAR rod. 
• The material moves only in the direction of the fiber length.

Notes on application/limitations

1. This is an easy-to-use material. 
2. It can be cut to the desired size with tin snips or a spiral. 
3. It is recommended to use after completing a static project.
4. The material only works in the direction of the length of the fiber. It has no lateral strength.
5. The product may cause skin irritation. Protective gloves, a mask and goggles must be worn. You can apply a protective cream to your hands before starting work. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with warm water and consult a doctor.
