Teknogrout Rapid is an ultra-fast self-leveling bulk repair compound. It starts setting in 5 minutes and does not shrink.

Instructions for use
- Clean the surface from low-strength concrete, various types of contamination, cement laitance, corrosion products, oils, petroleum products and other substances that can reduce the adhesion of the repair compound applied to the base.
- Visible cracks, seams, joints, and connections should be filled in a U-shape with a depth expansion of at least 20x20 mm.
- If there are active leaks on the surface, it is necessary to take measures to eliminate them.
- Clean existing fittings from corrosion products.
- If necessary, treat with passivating compounds.
- In case of significant destruction and damage to the reinforcement, reinforce or replace it.
- Give the surface the necessary roughness.
- The surface on which the mixture is laid must be clean, strong (compressive strength of at least 15 MPa, tensile strength of at least 1.5 MPa), rough, dust-free and moistened to saturation, but not wet.
- When performing work in hot and dry weather, the surface moistening time should be increased (up to 3 days).
- If necessary, in order to increase the adhesion of the mixture being laid, as well as for highly porous surfaces, it is recommended to treat the base with the highly adhesive composition Tekno AD.
- When applying the repair compound over a mesh, it is attached at a distance of 10-20 mm from the surface.
- It is recommended to treat the metal mesh with passivating mixtures.
- Thus, one package (25 kg bag) requires 3.00-4.00 liters of water.
- Pour the recommended amount of clean tap water into the prepared container.
- Turn on the mixer and slowly add the dry mixture without interruption.
- Mixing is carried out at low speed (400-500 rpm) for 1-2 minutes until a homogeneous mixture without lumps is obtained.
- It should be noted that the water content may vary slightly depending on the ambient temperature and relative humidity, as well as the temperature of the water used for mixing and the temperature of the dry mix.
- When performing work in hot and dry weather (above +25°C), it is recommended to use only cold water for mixing and to ensure that bags of material are stored in the coolest conditions before use, avoiding exposure to direct sunlight.
- Optimally, in hot and dry weather, work should be carried out early in the morning or in the evening.
- The material can be applied manually using a trowel and spatula.
- The optimal application thickness in one pass is from 10 mm to 40 mm.
- In case of greater depth of destruction, the composition is laid in layers.
- Leveling and smoothing the applied composition is carried out when it has already begun to set using plaster trowels.
- During the work, periodic mixing of the composition is recommended to restore the original comfort.
