Teknobond 400 anchor and assembly adhesive

Teknobond 400 is a two-component, high-strength thixotropic epoxy material designed for anchoring, bonding and repair. Suitable for horizontal and overhead applications.

Areas of use:

• Repair and strengthening of concrete and stone structures.
• Filling and isolating wide cracks.
• Bonding tiles, granite and other materials to smooth surfaces.
• Connection of metal and steel parts to concrete and steel structures.
• Fixing anchor elements.
• Fastening of railings, seismic absorbers on bridges and viaducts.

Surface preparation:

• The surface must be dry, strong, free of dust, grease, and cement mortar residues.
• Concrete base: compressive strength ≥ 25 N/mm², tensile strength ≥ 1.5 N/mm².
• Anchor rods: ribbed, dry, free of rust and contamination.

Mix:

1. Add component B to component A.
2. Mix with an electric mixer (up to 400 rpm) for 2-3 minutes until uniform in color.

Causing:

• Apply the mixture into the prepared hole and onto the reinforcing bar.
• Insert the rod, rotating it slowly.
• To ensure complete contact of the material with the surface, gently tap the rod.
• Check for hardening the next day.
• Application notes:
• Application temperature: not lower than +5°C.
• Does not contain solvents, does not dilute.
• Use rubber gloves and safety glasses when working.
