Bitumen-rubber mastic for waterproofing and gluing insulation

Izoplast W-KL is a ready-to-use water-based mastic designed for reliable bonding of expanded polystyrene (EPS, XPS) boards, foam plastic and mineral wool to concrete, brick and plastered surfaces. It is also used to create seamless waterproofing coatings on horizontal and vertical surfaces.

• Bonding of thermal insulation boards 

• Waterproofing of foundations, basements, terraces, basements

• Protection of structures from moisture and atmospheric influences

Method of application:

1. The base must be flat, clean and dry.

2. For better adhesion, preliminary priming with Izoplast Dysperbent primer is recommended .

3. When waterproofing, mastic is applied with a brush, spatula or trowel in a continuous layer.

4. For gluing boards - in strips 1.5–5 mm thick around the perimeter with an interval of 30 cm.

Terms of use:

Air temperature: +5°C to +25°C . Work should be carried out in dry, windless weather. Use of personal protective equipment is mandatory.
