Teknowrap 301 is a high-strength unidirectional carbon fiber fabric used for structural reinforcement.
Carbon fiber is one of the strongest materials in the world. Despite the fact that the thickness of the carbon fibers is equal to the thickness of the fabric, they are 14 times more resistant to stretching than STL steel, and their weight is only about 1/5 of the weight of steel. The advantage of using the fibers is their elasticity, thanks to which they easily take the desired shape and harden when laminated with a special epoxy resin (Teknobond 300 Tix).
APPLICATION
- To increase the durability and reliability of structures
- For repairing damaged beams and arches
- To increase the load-bearing capacity of structural elements
- For the reconstruction of historical sites
- To bring facilities up to the requirements of modern standards
- When restoring bridges, viaducts, etc. when damaged by corrosion
- When correcting mistakes made during construction
- It is recommended to use only by specialists who have experience working with this technology.
FEATURES / ADVANTAGES
- A more reliable method of reinforcing structures compared to classical ones
- Possibility of reinforcing surfaces with non-standard geometry
- Minimum weight and material thickness
- High modulus of elasticity and high mechanical strength
- Prevents surface damage during impacts or explosions

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
SUBSTRATE QUALITY / PREPARATION
Surface quality, joints and joint surfaces must be dry and free from any kind of dust, dirt, loose and loose particles, cement mortar residues, oil and grease. If there are weak concrete parts, they should be removed and the surface repaired using Teknogrout or Teknorep repair mixtures.
The concrete base must be strong and have sufficient compressive strength (minimum 25 N/mm²) and a tensile strength of at least 1.5 N/mm².
CAUSING
First, prepare and cut the carbon fibers to the desired size. Then prepare the Teknobond 300 Tix epoxy adhesive and apply it evenly to the concrete surface with a spatula, then press the Teknowrap 300 carbon fiber fabric to the surface. Any remaining adhesive should be removed immediately with a plastic roller with small teeth.
After completing the installation of the carbon fibers, it is recommended to sprinkle them with a thin layer of sand and apply plaster, as carbon fibers do not burn, but epoxy mortar can ignite at a certain temperature.
CLEANING THE TOOL
Clean tools and equipment with water immediately after use. Hardened material can only be removed mechanically.
NOTES
The structural strengthening project must be designed and executed under the supervision of an experienced
civil engineer.
