A one-component, shrinkage-resistant, high-strength, liquid cement-based decorative casting mortar that quickly gains strength.
Applications
Casting decorative items using molds.
Casting pots and sculptures.
For repairing concrete floors subject to foot traffic.
Casting bowls, vases, candlesticks, goblets, and many similar decorative items.
Features and Benefits
Easy to use.
Gains strength very quickly. Removes from molds in 10-15 minutes.
It has a wide range of applications due to its shrinkage-free properties.
It has high hardness and abrasion resistance.
It has very high adhesion.
It does not degrade with repeated contact with water.
Non-toxic.
Contains no solvents or asbestos.
Molds and surfaces to which the material is applied must be clean, smooth, solid, and free of dust, oil, dirt, rust, mold grease, detergents, and similar substances that may impair adhesion.
Surface and ambient temperature for work: +5°C to +35°C.
Mixing:
Pour 4.0–5.0 liters of water into a clean container. Pour 25 kg of Tekno ART into a container filled with water. Mix with a mixer at low speed until a homogeneous, lump-free mixture is achieved. Mixing time is at least 2 minutes. At the end of mixing, scrape away any remaining powder from the edges and corners of the container with a spatula and mix again for 1 minute. Mix until the working solution is uniform. Once the working solution is ready for use, do not add water.
Pour the prepared working solution into the molds within 2 minutes. Tekno ART should be poured into the mold from one side to completely fill the bottom. This pouring process prevents cavities from forming in the finished product.
Cleaning:
After application, protect from adverse weather conditions such as direct sunlight, strong winds, high temperatures (above 35°C), rain, and frost. Wash your hands with water and detergent until Tekno ART has fully cured.
Small decorative items: You can add 1 kg of dry mix to 190 ml of water, stir until smooth for 30-40 seconds, and pour into the molds. You can use metal spoons or small mixers attached to a drill to mix the mixture. Once the mixture is uniform, you can add acrylic paint to the mix to create multicolored concrete pieces. After 15-20 minutes, the pieces can be removed from the mold.
Notes/Restrictions
When using outdoors, protect from sun, rain, and frost. The reaction time for cement-based products depends on the ambient and mold temperatures.
When working with the material, wear appropriate work clothing and wear appropriate goggles and masks.
Do not use in areas where there is a risk of frost.
Pour the mixture into the molds from one side only.
For best results, work at temperatures between 15°C and 25°C.
Immediately after application, before curing, flush the equipment with water. After the product has cured, it can be cleaned mechanically.
